"Holiday Wreath" is a festive creation brought to life through the meticulous process of glass fusing. To achieve the intricate design, I used carefully cut fusible glass shapes to form the vibrant green holly leaves that encircle the plate. The deep red berries are represented by smooth glass nuggets, which add a delightful three-dimensional texture to the piece. These elements are fused onto a clear glass base, with a central white square providing a clean, crisp contrast. The result is a cheerful and elegant plate that captures the essence of the holiday season.
Fused Glass Plate - Kaleidoscopic Dreamscape - 8.5" x 8.5"
This artwork was meticulously crafted using the time-honored techniques of glass fusing combined with murrini applications to create a complex interplay of colors and patterns. The process began by carefully selecting compatible glass pieces which were then cut into desired shapes. These individual pieces were arranged in an intricate pattern on a flat kiln shelf. Murrini slices—small cross-sections from glass canes featuring multicolored patterns—were strategically placed to add depth and detail to the composition. Once assembled, the entire piece underwent a controlled heating process in a kiln where temperatures soared just enough to fuse the glass elements together while retaining their distinct boundaries.

"Ocean's Symphony" is a vibrant expression of the sea's depth and dynamism, created through the intricate process of glass fusing. To bring this piece to life, I used a rich palette of fusible glass shapes, carefully selected for their varying shades of blue, to mimic the ever-changing hues of the ocean. The plate’s surface is further enhanced with powdered frit, sprinkled to add texture and create a sense of movement within the composition. This layering of materials, subjected to the intense heat of the kiln, results in a harmonious blend of colors and textures that evoke the natural beauty of the underwater world.

This exquisite fused glass plate, titled "Reflections of Tranquility," is a masterpiece created using the intricate art of glass fusing. I employed Spirit System 96 glass, a versatile and reliable choice known for its exceptional compatibility during the fusing process. The plate features a striking combination of black and white hues, meticulously layered to create a flowing, organic pattern that evokes the sensation of water in motion. Red Stringers adorn the 4 sides with the central element, a delicate fish shape, skillfully crafted from dichroic glass, which reflects light in a mesmerizing array of colors. The fish, cut with precision, appears to swim gracefully through the tranquil waters of the plate, symbolizing peace and serenity.
Nature's Harmony 3 roses - Fused Glass Round Plate - 11" dia x 2" depth
This fused glass plate features an irregular, wavy edge that adds a dynamic touch to its design. The main body showcases a mottled pattern of white, green, and pink hues, creating a vibrant and organic look. The composition was then kiln-fired, allowing the different glass components to fuse together, creating a cohesive, three-dimensional effect. The use of powder added subtle highlights and shadows, bringing the wreath to life.
