Crafted on a mouth-blown 6-inch diameter glass ball, this work is layered with hand-felted wool fibers in vivid hues of red, purple, and sky blue. The translucent glass base provides both structure and luminosity, allowing the fibers’ delicate textures to glow from within. Using a wet-felting technique, the wool is coaxed into seamless swirls that envelop the glass, finished with a silver-and-gold satin ribbon bow for an elegant touch.
