Fused Glass Plate - Ocean's Symphony - 21cm x 21cm

Ocean's Symphony is a vibrant expression of the sea's depth and dynamism, created through the intricate process of glass fusing. To bring this piece to life, I used a rich palette of fusible glass shapes, carefully selected for their varying shades of blue, to mimic the ever-changing hues of the ocean. The plate’s surface is further enhanced with powdered frit, sprinkled to add texture and create a sense of movement within the composition. This layering of materials, subjected to the intense heat of the kiln, results in a harmonious blend of colors and textures that evoke the natural beauty of the underwater world.
